Education

More than 10.5 million children are out of school in Nigeria, of which 60% are girls. HDF is committed to reducing the number of out-of-school children. HDF runs a scholarship program to help indigent children get basic education. Illiteracy is one of the major causes of youth restiveness, stealing, prostitution, early pregnancy, child marriage, child labour, etc. in Nigeria. If we must have a better tomorrow we must invest into the future of our children academically today.
