How much is does the treatment cost?
All the treatments are free of charge.
Do we need to pay for registration?
No. Registration is free, including the treatment.
How long will the rehabilitation take?
The period of treatment depends on the cause of the disability and the severity of each individual’s case. Each patient will be informed about possible duration of treatment after physical examinations.
Will you attend to cases that require surgical operations?
No. We will not because of the financial cost involved.
Can I come without booking appointment?
We highly recommend that you book appointment with us before your coming.
Is the physical rehabilitation programme for only those in Warri or Delta State?
It is for everyone, irrespective of their state. But please make arrangements for your accommodation if you are coming from outside Warri and its environs.
Who exactly is this programme meant for?
This free treatment is for those who cannot afford the money. If you or your parents are rich and can afford to pay please do not come.
Is there accommodation for those who may come from afar?
No. We do not have the facility to provide accommodation. Please kindly make proper arrangements for your own accommodation and other logistics.
Are you attending to all cases of deformities?
No. The cases are Club foot (talipes), Club hand type 1 (Radial longitudinal anomaly), Scoliosis (Spinal curve), Kyphosis (Hunchback), Valgus deformity (knock knees or knock legs), Genu varum (Bow legs), Ape hand, Truma care, Lower limbs orthosis (knee ankle foot orthosis, foot ankle orthosis brace and sprint, etc.)
Will all those who come be guaranteed free medical rehabilitation?
No. We shall carry out a physical examination and a screening exercise. Only those whose cases are correctable will be admitted to benefit from the free treatment.
What types of cases are you likely to screen out or will not attend to?
We will not attend to adult cases, deformities or disabilities that require medical surgical procedures, deformities that are not correctable and cases that are not listed above.
Can adults with deformities come for the treatments?
This programme is for infants, children and young youths. It is not for adults.
Can I send my pictures or short video to ascertain if my case is treatable as part of the screening?
Yes. You are advised to do so.
Will I be compensated for my transport and other expenses if I am not qualified to benefit from this programme after physical examination?
No. We will not pay any form of compensation for not qualifying for the free treatment. This is why we highly recommend that you send us your pictures or a short video of your condition before coming.
