Every Step Matters – Giving Hope to Children with Clubfoot”
Transforming lives through timely correction, physical therapy, and compassionate care.
The Reality of Clubfoot and Treatable Disabilities in Nigeria
Every year, an estimated 9,397 children are born with clubfoot in Nigeria, yet only a small number receive timely correction. Millions of physically challenged Nigerians could live healthier lives with proper physical therapy. Unfortunately, many children are left untreated simply because their families cannot afford the cost of care.
At HDF, we are dedicated to ensuring that children born with clubfoot and other correctable deformities receive life-changing treatment early. Without timely intervention, children may grow up unable to walk properly or wear shoes — a heartbreaking and avoidable outcome. Yet, with a small investment, we can give them a lifetime of mobility, dignity, and joy.
