About 9,397 children with clubfoot cases are born yearly in Nigeria but sadly enough only few of them are corrected. There are millions of physically challenged Nigerians who can be treated by undergoing physical therapy. HDF is committed to ensuring that children born with clubfoot and correctable deformities in Nigeria are given the needed timely correction. 

Many of these children’s parents are poor and unable to afford correcting a clubfoot and other treatable deformities. Unfortunately, if a clubfoot is left without receiving correction, the lifetime consequences result in not being able to wear shoes and walk normal. Such a sight could be so pitiful, regrettable  and helpless. But when they are still children, with just a minimal amount of money, a lifetime of happiness and physical fitness could be secured for an innocent child.
